Description
Prerequisites:
- Knowledge of the SKM Software
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584
- Basic knowledge of what the Arc Event is
Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
- Create a plan to make sure the requirements of NFPA 70E are satisfied
- Perform data collection that will balance the requirement of NFPA 70E and the cost of the data collection process
- Proceed if no utility information is available
- Proceed if missing component data or library information
- Model the different components of the electrical distribution system
- Validate your input data for the system model to help prevent possible errors in the calculations
- Choose the proper options to perform the Arc Flash study
- Choose the proper output for the results of your Arc Flash Hazard Analysis
- Integrate the Equipment Evaluation result into your Arc Flash Hazard Documents
- Mitigate high levels of Arc Flash Incident Energy
- Design and print your Arc Flash Labels per NFPA 70E requirements
Who Should Attend:
