Objectives
The student will learn how to perform an Arc Flash Hazard Analysis from data collection, to mitigation of incident energies, to the final report. The student will feel confident enough to start conducting studies with what they have learned immediately.
Prerequisites
The student should have a basic understanding of arc flash events and their consequences-a knowledge of IEEE 1584 2002 and 2018, and the NFPA 70E.
Target Audience
Anyone individual directly involved with performing or reviewing an arc flash hazard analysis. Individuals who are responsible for electrical safety at their facilities.
Course Hours
This live webinar will be a three day, eight hours per day training session.
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST – Morning
1:00 PM to 1:30 PM CST – Lunch
1:30 PM to 5:30 PM CST – Afternoon
Ten-minute breaks will be held every hour and twenty minutes.

There will be a live chat, monitored by an engineer, to answer any questions during the webinar. Also, you can activate your microphone any time during the course to ask questions.

The webinar will use the latest version of SKM Power*Tools, Inc. software (PTW for Windows). We highly recommend having this software with the Arc Flash and Equipment Evaluation modules installed. If you do not have this software, you will still benefit from all the concepts and techniques taught and adapting them to your software.
